For hundreds - perhaps thousands - of years the native people of the high Arctic built stone figures that served many purposes such as direction to communities or to hunting grounds, others served as hunting blinds on animal migration routes, still others were placed to indicate places which were particularly sacred or spiritual. Sometimes they stood alone in an otherwise empty landscape. In other places they were grouped together in formal or strategic patterns.

This small pewter representation of the Inuksuk is our attempt to capture something of the spirit of the culture of the far north.  Sizes ahown indicate height. Not all styles are shown.  Please contact us for a digital catalogue.
